That’s when I met Vasantha Ma’am, who has been incredibly patient throughout my learning journey. She is someone who tunes herself to the student’s ability to learn and finds creative ways to explain concepts using simple techniques. Even a learner like me is highly benefitted from her theoretical classes which provided me a base for learning music practically.
Prior to her classes I was under the impression that singing is very difficult and only young people and children can learn. Now I am able to learn a lot of Annamacharya kirtanas, because of the foundation given by her.
Her classes helped me in overcoming the inhibitions and thinking more practically. It provided me confidence that I can also learn music at the age of 60+ provided, I get training under a teacher like her.
