About Us
Vijaya Mathangi – Centre For Music Excellence is a prestigious institution bringing the age-old Sangeetha Parampara and training Carnatic aspirants globally using digital platforms with modern techniques by retaining the traditional values of Carnatic music with focus on singing techniques and building a strong foundation.
We aim to teach Classical Carnatic Music and other genres of music beyond the regular class hours, emphasizing knowledge transfer through discussions and interactive sessions. Our instructors are well-trained in the traditional methods of teaching, having been guided by the old school of thought. The school follows these time-honored practices and encourages the study of music as a divine art—not just as song learning from a book.
How It Works
You can choose the area of your interest and schedule a demo class
with us and you’ll be given a 15-minute free demo or a 30-minute Trial class for a nominal fee.
Demo:-
We will schedule a demo session based on the subject of your interest at a time that is most convenient for you. During this 15-minute free session, we will assess the student’s current level, including their receiving and grasping abilities, as well as some technical aspects. This will allow us to customize the curriculum to suit their individual needs and ensure a more effective learning experience.
Trial Class:-
When a student schedules a half hour trial class for a nominal fee, we will guide them through a song or a particular piece of composition that they are eager to learn. During this session, the student will sing and repeat after the teacher to assess their vocal skills, understanding of rhythm, and ability to grasp musical nuances. This hands-on approach will help us gauge their learning style and ensure that we tailor the lessons according to their individual preferences and abilities.
Our aim is to provide an interactive and informative session that helps the student gain confidence in pursuing their interest.
Once a student is satisfied with the demo session and decides to embark on their learning journey, the next step is to complete the registration process to become a student of VMCME. This will officially enroll them in the program, after which they will begin receiving personalized lessons and access to all the resources provided by the institution.
